The minister declined to say whether there would be a fourth round of funding for the program in this year's federal budget. Labor frontbencher Stephen Jones said the Victorian decision was an indictment of a failed program. "In rounds one and two, 80 per cent of the locations announced were in Liberal or National Party electorates," he said. "Critical locations in areas of Victoria, particularly bush fire prone areas, have missed out." Mr Jones said round three funding was based on 2016 election promises not community needs.

We have just bought a house in Cants Lane, the old log burner was taken with the house. We would like to arrange for someone to come over and look at what size log burner we would need for the room/house. We would also require the Flue to be assessed as we are unsure when this was installed. The fireplace would also require attention. I look forward to hearing from someone to arrange a visit.

I've just removed a B&Q electric fire and surround in our late 1960s house, and found the fire opening still there with with fire brick/fire back present (approx. 16x19 inches opening).

Hi,

We have a Semi in Westdene, Brighton. We are going to have some structural work done and will have scaffolding up. We have an old gas fire in the fireplace at the moment which we are going to get rid of regardless. We had been thinking about getting a log burner anyway, and presume it makes sense to install the flue whilst we have scaffolding up?

I was wondering if you would be kind enough to quote for a flue installation? Also, how much more would it be to do if we decided to do it later when the scaffolding is no longer there?
